This workshop will explore the MGI database in depth. Participants will use MGI to identify:
- mouse models of human disease;
- single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and strain specific mutation;
- quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with a specific phenotype;
- mouse markers, alleles and phenotypes mapped onto a genome browser;
- gene expression data for specific anatomical structures and developmental stages;
- gene annotations using Gene Ontology (GO) terms
