"LATA" Online Training Program
Our online training program was developed by the Laboratory Animal Training Association (LATA) in coordination with the CMP Training Division to provide you with required information by utilizing training modules on the humane care and use of commonly used lab animals. These modules are designed to present pages of text and graphics and occasionally ask questions about the text. Once a training module is completed, the training is automatically recorded in an online training database that can be accessed by each user. CMP’s "LATA" training program is currently offered free of charge to approved TAMU users and is Web-based, which allows individuals interested in this training the ability to access the program online from any computer that has Internet access. All TAMU animal research users are highly encouraged to participate in this training opportunity!
